MANWICH is a body of photographs celebrating the male physique and character, featuring men as Lucas sees them pin-upstyle. This is her first effort to make nude photographs of men after a few years of photographing women. Creating humorous narratives that honor what she loves about men, her work is inspired by photographers James Bidgood, Bob Mizer, Mark Morrisroe, and Jim French; and the energy and style of the late Freddy Mercury. This work was previously shown under her alias Gina Velour.
